Many find home in the LGBTQI+ community. But not everyone. Some feel “in between” even there — not queer enough, not trans enough, wrong words, wrong look. It hurts to feel outside even in the place meant to hold you.
Identity isn’t a contest in definitions. It’s a journey. You don’t have to fit a box to belong. Queerness isn’t about labels — it’s about freedom.
Seek people, not categories. There are spaces and souls that see your whole self without conditions. And if you can’t find them yet — build them. Your openness can become someone else’s home.
Alma’s tips:
• Take breaks from spaces that make you shrink.
• Find places where uncertainty is welcome — art, conversation, movement.
• Remember: you’re not the only one in the in-between. That space is shared — and it’s sacred.
You don’t have to belong to be connected. You are enough, exactly as you are.
