There are seasons when your inner compass stops working. You do the things you’re supposed to, but they don’t bring the same meaning anymore. You wake up and think, Is this it? Not dramatic, just quietly uncertain. Something inside you is shifting, but you can’t name what it is.

We often believe we need a plan — but sometimes, not knowing is part of the path. Feeling lost doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you’re outgrowing something: a job, a role, a version of yourself that no longer fits.

Standing between what was and what’s coming next can feel like being suspended in midair. But that in-between space is where you start hearing your true voice again — not the one that tries to please everyone, but the one that knows who you are.

Being lost isn’t dangerous. It’s uncomfortable, yes, but it’s also the beginning of clarity. You won’t find direction by rushing. You find it by standing still long enough to listen. The silence you fear isn’t empty — it’s full of answers that need time to surface.

Alma’s tips:

When you feel lost, write down three things that still feel true for you — however small. It could be a feeling, a person, a memory. Start there. You don’t need to see the whole road ahead, only the next step. Life will meet you, even when you’ve momentarily lost your way.
